I'm Chris Aurelio, a twenty-two-year-old engineer and amateur photographer based in Massachusetts. Motorsports photography is something that has been tested through generations of my family. My father and grandfather had been photographing sports car races since the 1980s. I bought my first DSLR in the spring of 2016 initially for use as a video camera. I brought it to the IMSA race at Lime Rock Park a few months later where I spent most of the day using it to shoot video rather than photos. Only after I posted a couple of my half-decent full auto photos to Instagram and got some positive feedback did I become more invested in photography.
Since then, I've been fortunate enough to shoot at IMSA and WEC events around the United States and the world. I've also worked on assignment for NCAA Division I teams around the New England area.
